In 2023, I began my work with Project New Village, a non-profit organization that values healthy, locally grown food and its sustainability throughout the southeastern San Diego community.
I joined Project New Village as an Americorps member, and grew into my current role as IT Specialist. In 2024, I received a County of San Diego Special Certificate for my IT work with Project New Village.
Since joining the team, I’ve worked tirelessly to bridge the technical generation gap for staff elders, farmers, and anyone who wants to learn about the ever-changing landscape of technology.
My data analysis with the Mobile Farmers Market, as well as the technical troubleshooting I have provided has contributed to Project New Village’s biggest endeavor: a two-story food hub being built in the Mount Hope community.
